InfoSpace and WebFetch to join ipoints loyalty plan

Users of search engine WebFetch will be able to collect loyalty points when they search, after its owner InfoSpace Europe signed up to the ipoints loyalty programme.

WebFetch aggregates search results from several search engines, and users will be able to earn points according to the number of searches they do. A progress bar on the search engine will show them how many points-earning searches they have done.

InfoSpace is hoping the scheme will encourage customers to focus their search activities through its site. Ipoints has over 1 million registered members.
