PwC starts trawl for advertising agency

The pitch is being conducted by the AAR.

Alison Sharpe, a spokeswoman for PwC, was unable to confirm any details of a pitch, but says: “We continually review our suppliers as part of our normal business processes.”

PwC’s agencies include Initiative Media, part of the Interpublic Group, which holds the planning and buying business.

The company also uses The Gate, a full-service agency that is owned by Media Square, for its business-to-business work, and CCHM:Ping, an integrated agency that specialises in financial and professional services.

The company had a turnover of &£1.8bn in the UK last year, and has close to 15,000 partners and staff in the UK.
