It is through gritted teeth that the Diary offers its congratulations to the winners of Marketing Week’s World Cup tickets competition.
The lucky pair scooped VIP tickets for themselves and a guest to England’s first two group games.

The first name out of the hat for the Trinidad and Tobago clash was Richard Collins of Barclaycard, who took his dad to Nuremberg for the match.
