Andy Murray, Britain’s number two ranked tennis player, has launched his first website to coincide with this year’s Wimbledon tournament, designed by digital agency Airlock.
The website, andymurray.com, features blogging, audio and video footage, competitions and news about the tennis player, with daily updates promised. Murray also plans to talk to his fans through the site with question and answer sessions.
A second phase of the site is planned after the Wimbledon tournament, with more information, a fan forum and an e-commerce offering.
Airlock’s clients include fashion brand Diesel, airline Emirates and upmarket guide books Mr and Mrs Smith.
