Marketing Week is launching a daily news and jobs website, which will go live next week at www.marketingweek.co.uk.
MarketingWeek.co.uk will be refreshed regularly each weekday to provide breaking news across the marketing and advertising industries. E-mail news alerts, a weekly newsletter and a continually updated, comprehensive selection of jobs will also be part of the service.
Subscribers can access online archives featuring more than 11 years of news, analysis and comment from the magazine, which will continue to be published every week as normal.
Stuart Smith, editor of Marketing Week and MarketingWeek.co.uk, says: “The purpose of this move is to provide an integrated service that will give readers and advertisers something new and immediate, while adding strength to the magazine.
“A notable feature is that it will rely on the established skills of the magazine’s editorial staff, who have collectively clocked up more than 50 years’ experience of reporting on the marketing and advertising industries.”
Besides breaking news, the site will include a lively array of analysis, comment and feature material, with sections offering advice from senior marketing figures on how to climb the ladder, and profiles of rising stars in the marketing and advertising industries.
