Golley Slater has been appointed by specialist food retailer Julian Graves to handle its £1m advertising business.

The agency will produce a series of ads, to be voiced by Doctor Who and All Creatures Great and Small actor Peter Davison, that will highlight the "feel good factor" of the 300-strong retail chain’s products.

A healthy eating ad, which will run in the break of the new series of You Are What You Eat, will be part of the campaign. It will feature Shalamar’s "I Can Make You Feel Good" as the backing track. Feather Brooksbank is handling the media planning and buying for the campaign.

Julian Graves marketing director Alison Miles says: "I am confident that this new series of TV commercials will entice viewers into our shops to sample our products."

Julian Graves has launched 36 outlets since April and plans to open 50 new stores by next March.
