Kimberly-Clark hires Kellogg boss as top marketer

Kimberly-Clark, the hygiene and health goods giant, has appointed Kellogg UK managing director Anthony Palmer as chief marketing officer.

Kimberly-Clark (K-C), the hygiene and health goods giant, has appointed Kellogg UK managing director Anthony Palmer as chief marketing officer.

Palmer will be responsible for developing the company’s global marketing strategy for brands such as Kleenex, Huggies and Kotex. He is to report to chairman and chief executive Thomas Falk.

A former marketer at Coca-Cola in the US, Palmer also had a stint at Mars Confectionery in his native Australia.</span.

Falk states: "Tony brings a record of delivering strong operating results, as well as global marketing experience with some of the world’s best-known

brands. He will lead the development of strategic marketing capabilities by ensuring customer, shopper and user insights drive all aspects of our business."

K-C uses JWT and MindShare for its creative and media duties respectively in the UK.
