Draft FCB names UK co-presidents

Draft FCB has appointed Nigel Jones and John Minnec as co-presidents of the newly merged agency in the UK.

Minnec, who was previously managing director of Draft London, will be responsible for client servicing, personnel, new business and marketing, while Jones, the former chief executive of FCB London, will look after strategy, operations, output and finance.

Chairman and chief executive of Draft FCB Worldwide Howard Draft says: “During the integration phase, it became obvious that Nigel and John should work together in order to create this new breed of agency that brings to life the unconventional union of accountability and creativity.”

Jones joined FCB in November last year from Claydon Heeley Jones Mason, which he co-founded. Minnec, who started his Draft career in Chicago in 1996, became managing director of Draft London in April 2005.

Draft FCB announced last week that former Draft president and international operations chief executive David Florence would become regional president for Europe, Middle East, Africa, Australia, New Zealand and Canada for the newly merged agency.
