T-Mobile

T-Mobile UK has poached O2 marketer Derek Williamson to become head of business marketing.

In his new role, Williamson, who was part of the corporate industry sector marketing and business marketing teams during his time at O2, will be responsible for delivering mobile voice and data products and services to SME and corporate customers and driving business sales.

He says: "I will be dedicated to developing simple, innovative and good value mobile products and services that genuinely meet the needs of businesses, enabling them to work when, where and how they want to."

At the start of last year, T-Mobile International promoted Andre Stark to vice-president of business marketing (MW January 27, 2005). He replaced Celia Francis, who left the company at the end of 2004 (MW October 14, 2004).

Stark moved from vice-president of marketing strategy and services and reports to T-Mobile chief marketing officer Ulli Gritzuhn, who joined the German mobile operator just before Stark (MW December 9, 2004).
