Waitrose hands DM to Kitcatt Nohr

Waitrose has handed its direct marketing business to Kitcatt Nohr Alexander Shaw.

The decision follows a final contest against Archibald Ingall Stretton and Partners Andrews Aldridge. The pitch was conducted by The Haystack Group.

Miles Calcraft Briginshaw Duffy handles Waitrose’s advertising, while Manning Gottlieb OMD won the brand’s media planning and buying account earlier in the year.

Waitrose marketing director Christian Cull says: “All three of the final agencies were outstanding, but Kitcatt Nohr Alexander Shaw has been particularly impressive.

“Our main objective is to move forward this aspect of our marketing, and for our agencies to work closely together.”

Vonnie Alexander, client partner at Kitcatt Nohr, adds: “Waitrose offers a terrific opportunity for direct marketing. We are looking forward to winning new converts to the brand.”
