The British Promotional Merchandise Association (BPMA) is launching an Entrepreneur of the Industry Award.
It aims to “award excellence” in the industry, which is worth £20bn in the UK according to the organisation.
The BPMA says that “on the strength that all businesses and consumers are affected by the vast reach of the promotions and incentives industry and recognition needs to be paid to individuals contributing to its advancement”. The final entry for submissions is October 31.
The BPMA says the winner must be able to demonstrate growth with financial performance, innovation, impact on the industry, long-term sustainability and, above all, entrepreneurial flair. Entries may be submitted by the individual or be nominated by colleagues and industry peers.
The initiative has been launched by newly appointed BPMA chairman David Lebond.
The winner of The Entrepreneur Of The Industry Award will be announced and presented with the BPMA Awards on December 14. Entry forms for the Entrepreneur Industry Award can be downloaded from www.bpma.co.uk
