It is that time of year again when good-hearted fitness freaks dust off their running shoes and fly to the Big Apple so they can take part in the New York City Marathon.
Among the marketing types already signed up are Ian Howarth and Chris Gordon from WWAV, to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the agency’s relationship with children’s charity NSPCC.
Their colleagues at the agency have produced a trailer featuring slow motion footage of the pair in training, no doubt with the aim of stripping away whatever pride they had left.

Also going is Dunnhumby analyst Mark Schmid, running in aid of the PSP Association, which raises funds for sufferers of progressive supranuclear palsy (PSP) – a neurodegenerative disease, which is at least as common and as devastating as motor neurone disease.
