Warburtons, the bread maker, is seeking a new marketing director to replace Roz Cuschieri, who was promoted to commercial director a year ago.

The company is looking for a marketer to develop a marketing strategy that will support the Lancashire-based company’s growth plans. The role will also include responsibility for advertising and new product development.

Cuschieri, who was appointed as a non-executive director of Wolverhampton & Dudley Breweries last week, was promoted to marketing director in 2001. She was previously business development director for two years.

The search for a new marketing director comes amid a review of the company’s £5m media planning and buying account. It is understood that the review is ongoing but a decision is not expected until after Christmas.
