Havas, the advertising and media company, is bringing its media services, including the global Media Planning Group network, under the Havas Media umbrella.
The move aims to simplify the structure of Havas and its brands, which include Arena, the communications services network; Media Contacts, the online and digital network; sports marketing group Havas Sports; and branded entertainment network, B6 Integrated Entertainment.
The merged group, which will cover 93 countries, will focus on developing global business and providing integrated communications solutions for its clients. It will also pitch for global businesses.
Havas Media chief executive Alfonso Rodés Vilà says: “This move demonstrates Havas’ continued commitment and support to the media expertise within the group. This umbrella brand is a proactive response to an intense decade of organic growth within MPG and its related companies.”
