Hoover restructures marketing division

Hoover has promoted its chief marketer for small domestical appliances, Joe Grech, to the the role of division commercial director for Europe, following a restructure.

Hoover, the company best known for its vacuum cleaners, has promoted its chief marketer for small domestical appliances, Joe Grech, to the the role of division commercial director for Europe, following a restructure.

Grech, previously UK managing director of sales and marketing, will head all floorcare business operations in Europe, including overseeing sales and marketing in the UK, which has now been split into two roles.

Mark Barratt, currently at Hoover corporate marketing and communications, becomes small domestic appliance marketing director for the UK and Ireland. Prior to joining the Hoover Candy Group, Barratt worked in marketing at McDonald’s and Warburtons. Valentino Ricioppo joins as sales director for the UK and Ireland from Salton Europe, which owns the Russell Hobbs and George Foreman brands.
