Twinings is launching a new TV campaign to support its speciality teas. The ads, which break next week, aim to introduce the range to mainstream tea drinkers.
The campaign, which stars Stephen Fry, has three executions to support its Earl Grey, Lady Grey and Chai blends. It ads are set in a Twinings teahouse in Los Angeles and sees Fry attempting to educate the young staff on the culture of tea while he tries to learn American slang.
Twinings marketing director Claire Hodge says that the growth of the speciality tea sector is driven by demand for getting quality products.
Twinings is also offering trial packs containing 10 teabags to encourage new customers to try the teas.
