Clear Channel Outdoor names Sayer as chief executive

Clear Channel Outdoor has appointed Barry Sayer as UK chief executive as part of a wider overhaul of its management team. Previously, Sayer was handling the role on an interim basis.

He will now take on the UK role permanently, while also acting as regional president for the UK, Ireland and the company’s 13 African markets, including South Africa.

Clear Channel Outdoor has also announced a number of management changes across its international business. Hubert Janvier, chief executive for Belgium and Spain, has been promoted to regional president for Southern Europe. Rickard Hedland, chief executive for Northern Europe, will now become regional president, Northern and Eastern Europe.

Clear Channel Outdoor claims to be the world’s largest outdoor advertising company with over 881,000 displays in 60 countries.
