Lee Cooper launches new European stores

Lee Cooper, the denim brand, is expanding its retail presence with new stores opening up around Europe in the next few months.

A new retail identity, designed by the Catamaran Partnership in London, is soon to be unveiled. It is based on the Lee Cooper ad campaign – Industry, Strength, Life, Work – devised by US advertising agency Gyro.

The retail push includes concessions, retail outlets and concept stores which will open over the next six months in seven cities around Europe. Lee Cooper is also embarking on a store roll-out in India and China next year.

The first two concept stores will be in Zurich and Antwerp. The company is also looking for a central London site for a concept store here.

The company has also appointed former eastern European retail director for Nike, David Maddison, as head of European retail operations, and Susanne Williams from Timberland as retail project manager. They will be responsible for the roll-out of the retail design concept and the store openings.
