Renault is launching a follow-up to its Twice the Va Va Voom campaign to promote its new Clio Renaultsport 197. The campaign, created by Publicis, once again features Ben and Sophie, the flirtatious characters who argue about the merits of Britain and France. The pair replaced Arsenal footballer Thierry Henry as the faces of the Renault Clio last year (MW October 13).

The new campaign, “More Va Va Voom”, breaks in cinemas tomorrow (Thursday) during screenings of the new James Bond film Casino Royale. A television campaign will follow in January. It shows British gentleman Ben, and Sophie, a sophisticated French lady, debating whose country boasts the finest culture. Media planning and buying is handled by Carat.
