Orange brand chief handed pay-as-you-go role

Orange UK’s brand director Pippa Dunn is moving to head the company’s £1bn a year pay-as-you-go business.
Dunn, a former Coca-Cola and NTL marketer, replaces Jim Graham as head of pay-as-you-go, which accounts for two-thirds of Orange’s customer business.
She joined the telecoms giant three-and-a-half years ago from NTL, where she was marketing director for the internet (MW February 6, 2003). Her first role at Orange was group head of sponsorship but she was made brand director in 2004 after Jeremy Dale left the company.
Dunn, who was also head of sponsorship for all Coca-Cola GB brands, was heavily involved in Orange’s £200m pan-European advertising review earlier this year. She was a loyal supporter of UK ad agency Mother, which eventually lost out to Publicis Groupe’s Fallon London and Marcel (MW March 9).
An Orange spokesman says the company is looking for a new brand director.
