Orange offers ‘Togetherness’ toys in stores

Orange, the mobile phone operator, is to take a further step with its Togetherness campaign by putting the wind-up toys featured in the ad campaign into its stores and raising money for its corporate charity, Sense.

Miniature versions of the toys will be available from December 8 at Orange stores around the UK, along with phone charms designed by Aardman Animations, the creators of Wallace and Gromit cartoon characters.

In return for the toys, customers will be asked to make a donation of at least £1 to Sense, the charity that supports people who are deaf and blind. Funds raised will go to Sense’s outreach programme, which provides direct benefit to the lives of deaf-blind people. The charity is also hoping to benefit through raised awareness of its activities.

Orange is hoping to distribute 100,000 of the toys.
