Opodo, the online travel company, has appointed Ignacio Martos as global chief executive following the departure of Simon Vincent, who is leaving to join Hilton Hotels.
Martos, who takes over the role on December 1, is the former global chief executive of Spanish online travel brand, Rumbo.
Vincent, the former chief executive of Red Letter Days, has been appointed to replace Howard Friedman as area president for Hilton UK & Ireland. Friedman is returning to his native US after working for the Hilton brand for 17 years.
Earlier this year, Opodo shifted its £3m pan-European advertising account from Karmarama to Paris-based agency Frederic Duverge following a protracted pitch.
The pitch was temporarily stalled to allow new commercial director Sally Balcombe and new sales and marketing director Petra Friedmann to settle into their roles.
