Publisher Random House Group has appointed sales promotions marketing agency Cocktail Marketing to develop partnership promotions for selected titles across its female fiction division Century Heinemann and Arrow (CHA).
The initiative will focus on building brand awareness around its key female fiction authors such as Katie Fforde and Belinda Jones.
Random House, which is among the largest publishing houses in the UK, plans to use the marketing scheme to improve its data capture capabilities with the broader aim of increasing sales across the business.
Claire Round, marketing director for the CHA division, says: "We want our communications to fit in with women’s lifestyles, and working with the appropriate partner companies is a great way for us to achieve this objective."
Cocktail Marketing also works in conjunction with COI Commuications, the National Lottery, Thomson and cinema chain Odeon.
