Warner Bros names Berger as Entertainment chief

Warner Bros has appointed Joshua Berger as president and managing director of its Entertainment UK and Ireland division. He was previously executive vice-president and managing director for the UK.

Berger (pictured), who has been with the company for 17 years, will oversee all aspects of Warner Bros Entertainment’s businesses in the UK and will work directly with US-based heads of Warner Bros Entertainment’s various units.

He will continue to be based in London and will report to Richard Fox, executive vice-president, international, Warner Bros, to chairman and chief executive Barry Meyer and chief operating officer Alan Horn.

Berger joined the company in 1989 as a sales executive for the company’s international television distribution arm in Paris.
