Dennis Woodside, recently installed as managing director of Google UK, Ireland & Benelux, is expected to make his keynote speech at the Marketing Week Summit in January.
"Digital communications, social networking and online marketing have all taken huge strides in the past year. In the Marketing Week Summit we have assembled an event that ties these strands together and speculates intelligently on the future," says Stuart Smith, editor of Marketing Week.
"Attending is not just about avoiding dinosaur status. We hope the summit will appeal to any marketing professional keen to achieve stand-out in an increasingly complex communications environment," he adds.
Among those speaking at the event are Jim Hytner, group marketing director of Barclays; David Erixon, global head of advertising at Vodafone; Mark Hall marketing director of Toyota; and representatives from social networking sites MySpace and Bebo. Some 28 leading brands and agencies are expected to take the stage.
The Marketing Week Summit 2007 takes place on January 17-19 at the Royal Garden Hotel, London. For details, contact Anna Knight: 020 7970 4351 or www.mwsummit.com.
