Industry@Saatchi, the creative business division of Saatchi & Saatchi, has been appointed to develop the Amplifon brand, one of the world’s largest distributors of hearing aids. The account is understood to be worth an estimated £10m.

The agency has been charged with developing a strategy to help the business meet its growth targets, centring on managing its brand portfolio to both attract and retain customers.

The Italian-listed company’s core business encompasses both the distribution of hearing aids and the provision of other services to hearing-impaired consumers.

Industry@Saatchi will work closely with Amplifon group ceo Franco Moscetti and its board directors alongside corporate and local marketing teams to develop its overarching global brand strategy.

The Publicis Groupe-owned agency established its research and development arm, Industry@Saatchi, last year aimed at bridging the gap between ad agencies and management consultancies. Vicky Moffatt, formerly managing director and director of strategy at Saatchi’s London office, was appointed to spearhead the venture.
