Sky has teamed up with Rough Guides to produce a climate change book that provides information on ways to reduce energy consumption.

The "Rough Guide to saving energy and reducing your carbon footprint" is sponsored by Sky and copies will be available from next week.

The 64-page guide answers questions on climate change and covers a range of issues from greener cars to air travel. The book also offers advice on how to reduce your carbon footprint.

In a foreword to the guide, BSkyB chief executive James Murdoch says: "The more I’ve learnt about the challenge of climate change, the clearer it has become that there are things you can do – things that are surprisingly straightforward and which improve your lifestyle rather than detract from it."
