A shining example

Far be it from this publication to blow its own trumpet, but your Super Soaraway Marketing Week started the year with a glowing reference in The Sun last week.

And the Diary is of the belief that one good turn deserves another.

The red-hot Redtop dubbed Marketing Week Britain’s "marketing bible", in a story about our top 10 brands for 2007 – which co-incidentally featured the newspaper.

The whopper from Wapping was delighted to find itself rubbing shoulders with the likes of Chelsea FC and Virgin AtlanticIt roared: "The Sun was yesterday named as one of the Top 10 Brands set to shine during 2007 by UK marketing bible, Marketing Week." The voice of the nation then reproduced our analysis of the paper’s prospects almost word for word. Isn’t it nice to be loved?
