Gilmour joins Heritable Bank

Heritable Bank, a subsidiary of Icelandic bank Landbanki Islands, has appointed former Lloyds TSB marketer Alan Gilmour to the new role of marketing director.

Heritable Bank, a subsidiary of Icelandic bank Landbanki Islands, has appointed former Lloyds TSB marketer Alan Gilmour to the new role of marketing director.

Gilmour will be responsible for the bank and its online savings product, Icesave, and will lead a four-strong marketing team.

He left Lloyds TSB in January last year after 20 years with the bank. He held a variety of roles in the marketing division including brand and sponsorship director. During his time at the bank he was responsible for the development and launch of the Lloyds TSB brand following the merger of TSB and Lloyds in 1999.

Heritable Bank chief executive and managing director Mark Sismey-Durrant says: “We plan to expand our successful range of products and services throughout 2007 to match our customers’ needs and our own ambitious business target.”

Heritable Bank is a specialist lender which operates across property development, residential mortgage and small to medium enterprises sectors.
