New Look poaches marketer from River Island

New Look has appointed Guy Lister from River Island as marketing director, responsible for all areas of marketing, communications and brand development.

Lister will take up the post at the end of the month and report to Carl McPhail, managing director of marketing, operations and international.

McPhail says: “I am delighted that Lister is joining New Look and look forward to working with him. He has a great track record and his appointment underlines our commitment to developing our brand.

“His international experience will also support our growth outside the UK.”

Lister is joining New Look, which has a 4.3% market share in the UK, after five years at River Island, most recently as director of marketing and international development.
