Virgin Books hunts new marketing chief
Virgin Books marketing director Jamie Moore is leaving the company after almost ten years. It is not known if he has a job to go to.
Moore joined the publisher as marketing manager in April 1997 and was promoted to marketing director in 2004. It is understood that he is leaving at the end of next week.
A Virgin Books spokeswoman confirms his departure and says that the company, a subsidiary of entertainment giant Virgin Group, is looking for a replacement, who will report to managing director K.T. Forster.
Virgin Books was created following a merger with publisher WH Allen in 1991. It publishes more than 200 new titles and 400 previously existing titles each year.
