Mobile advertising specialist Commercial Messaging is launching a mobile marketing product that will enable marketers to easily create, send and monitor visual SMS-based ad campaigns.
Clients can use the application tool, called MessageMore, to create a visual-based SMS campaign, incorporating company logo and font based on easy-to-use templates. MessageMore offers a step-by-step guide to uploading and managing an SMS campaign. Campaigns can be tracked and monitored, meaning clients can assess the effectiveness of their campaign. MessageMore can also be incorporated into in-house company databases.
Commercial Messaging managing director Dean Cook says: "Our platform enables branded visual messages to be created on the desktop and delivered to any number of mobile phones in minutes, without any third-party involvement, using SMS messaging."
After the initial application set-up cost, clients can subscribe to MessageMore which allows them to send a set number of messages, update templates and other services and tools.
In the UK, more than 82 million SMS messages were sent each day in the UK during 2006, and according to the Mobile Data Association over 70% of consumers are receptive to messages sent on the mobile phone.
