PriceRunner, the online price comparison service, is launching a mobile phone version of the website, making it the first comparison service to go mobile.
Consumers will be able to download a free application from PriceRunner.co.uk or by sending a text to a shortcode, where the application will be sent back to them. Users will be able to access PriceRunner.co.uk with full functionality to compare prices. The service launches in the spring.
The service is being supported via an exclusive partnership with Picsel, struck by PriceRunner owner ValueClick Europe.

For the first time, consumers will be empowered to make purchasing decisions on the go while shopping on the high street.”
