Tiscali, the broadband, telephone and media company, has teamed up with energy saving and switching service energyhelpline.com to offer Tiscali’s 7 million users potential savings and easy way to switch provider.
Tiscali will also offer a unique telephone number and bespoke call centre to support the initiative offline.
As part of the partnership, Tiscali, will feature energy-related stories and articles on the portal homepage and deliver targeted e-mail campaigns throughout the year as well as offering readers advice on how to become more energy efficient and environmentally friendly.
Alex Hole, Tiscali UK online media director, says: "The rising cost of energy has become a significant issue for Tiscali customers. We identified a major need for a robust service that compared all tariffs across the entire UK gas and electricity markets. It is important for our users that they can search not only by price but also by energy efficiency and green rating, and that they have access to dedicated customer service representatives.
