DoubleClick is expanding its operations in Europe with the acquisition of digital marketing technology agency Tangozebra.
The deal will add to DoubleClick’s rich-media ad management suite and trafficking services with plans to integrate Tangozebra’s activities across Europe into the business.
The combined business will comprise more than 250 staff, servicing clients across Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
Tangozebra managing director and co-founder James Booth will head its rich-media business in the region reporting directly to DoubleClick international president, Ben Regensburger.
The combined business offer will cover the full range of creative services and production, search bid management and media optimization as well as solutions for emerging technologies such as podcasting and in-game advertising.
Booth says: “Joining forces with DoubleClick gives us the unique opportunity to realise our ideas rapidly across a variety of scalable, digital delivery platforms and a diverse set of industry leaders through DoubleClick’s longstanding partners.”
