Help the Aged promotes spring fundraiser

Help the Aged is launching a national fundraising event called The Big Spring Walk, which aims to encourage people across the Uk to organise their own walks.

The event aims to help older people to avoid poverty, isolation and neglect, the three cornerstones of Help the Aged. The event will be held over April 28 and 29, and the charity aims to make the walk an annual event.

The charity is supporting the event with a direct marketing campaign aimed at schools and businesses and a poster campaign will be rolled out across the charity’s stores. There will be further advertising nearer to the date of the event.

The Big Spring Walk is being supported by celebrities including Davina McCall, Gabby Logan and Penny Smith.
