EMAP Advertising appoints radio sales director

EMAP Advertising has appointed Adrian Serle to the new role of radio sales director. The role was created following the appointment of Bruce Daisley, former head of agency sales for radio, to head its interactive sales last month.

Serle, who is currently managing director of Kerrang! 105.2 in the West Midlands, will take over the role on March 19 and will be responsible for all aspects for radio sales as well as driving EMAP Advertising’s commercial strategy. He will report to broadcast sales director Karen Stacey.

According to EMAP Advertising, Serle’s appointment is the “first of many exciting developments within the broadcast team”.

Serle joined EMAP as commercial director of Sheffield’s Hallam FM and Magic but moved to Kerrang! when in launched in 2004. He has also held roles at GWR Radio, now GCap Media, and radio advertising agency Radio Works.
