Cannons Health and Fitness, the gym operator, has boosted its marketing team with a raft of new appointments. It follows the arrival of former lastminute.com marketing director Mathew Hart as marketing chief last year.
Hart, who is commercial and marketing director, has bought in Mark Dugdale as brand development and partnerships manager. Dugdale will be responsible for brand innovation, new product development and strengthening the Cannons brand positioning. He joins from Arcadia, where he was marketing manager for the Burton brand for three years.
It has also appointed former lastminute.com site manager Amy Clarke as e-business manager. She will develop a new cannons.co.uk website including a forum for members to interact online as well as search marketing and online advertising.
Cannons has also appointed Beth Hodgkinson, campaign manager at Holmes Place Health Clubs, as retail marketing manager. She will work alongside Vanessa Coleman, who joins from Carphone Warehouse.
