Toshiba, the electronics manufacturer, is planning to consolidate its £25m pan-European advertising into one network. It is understood that UK incumbent DFGW has declined to repitch.

The agency picked up the business in October 2005 and reintroduced the “‘Ello Tosh” line in a £3m account marking the manufacturer’s 20th anniversary.

The “‘Ello Tosh” ad was created in 1985 by Gold Greenlees Trott and featured a blueprint man voiced by Ian Dury.

Toshiba handed Saatchi & Saatchi Interactive its £1m pan-European digital account for its laptop business in June 2006.

It also pitched its digital account on its mobile handset business in January this year, although the review was put on hold when the company’s Japanese owner cut its digital ad budget.
