Macmillan Cancer Support launches awareness campaign

Cancer charity, Macmillan Cancer Support, is rolling out a green safety pin to raise awareness of, and build support for, the charity.

The launch of the Macmillan safety pin is to be backed by the Pin Up ad campaign which aims to boost donations and encourage supporters to show they care for those affected by cancer by wearing the new Macmillan pin.

The safety pin has been designed to be innovative and versatile and can be worn on clothes, or attached to a mobile phone or jewellery.

The activity to support the safety pin’s launch includes a teaser postcard mailing with the pin through it and a Rankin photoshoot featuring Fearne Cotton, Mariella Frostrup and Jon Snow among others.
