Air New Zealand names UK and Euro marketing manager

Air New Zealand, has appointed Kathryn Gregory as marketing manager for Europe and the UK. Gregory, who joins from bmi, will be the airline’s top marketer.

Gregory, who was at bmi for 15 years, will head the three-strong marketing department at Air New Zealand. She will have responsibility for direct marketing, consumer advertising, trade communications and e-commerce marketing for the UK and Europe.

She will also work closely with industry and trade partners such as Star Alliance, Tourism New Zealand, Hong Kong Tourist Board, LA Inc and Air New Zealand’s UK advertising agency Fox Kalomaski.

Gregory’s appointment follows the launch of a second daily service to Auckland via Hong Kong in October 2006.

Her predecessor Christie Lord is no longer working in the marketing industry.
