GMG radio stations launch first TV campaigns

GMG’s radio stations Real Radio and Century FM are launching a new TV campaign featuring a tongue-in-cheek version of Duran Duran’s Rio.The breaks next Monday and runs for three weeks in Wales, the North East and North West of England.

The ad, created by Clear Marketing, shows a couple singing on a narrow boat instead of the glamorous yacht in the original, and features the strapline “Music you just have to sing along to”.

This is the first TV campaign for the two Century FM stations since they were acquired by GMG Radio last October. It will be supported by outdoor marketing activity that will run throughout April.
