T-Mobile campaign pushes Web tariff

T-Mobile is launching a £3m online campaign today (Friday) to support its Web ‘n’ Walk tariff. It is the mobile phone operator’s biggest investment in online to date and is part of a wider integrated campaign to support the tariff.

The campaign, which has been created by Saatchi & Saatchi, will have the strapline “setting the internet free”. The wider campaign will also include TV and outdoor.

The online activity includes banner ads and skyscrapers on sites such as Yahoo!, Lycos and MSN as well as advertorial content on sites such as Lastminute.com and Channel 4.

Saatchi & Saatchi Interactive has developed a microsite to support the campaign, which includes a demonstration of the service.

The Web ‘n’ Walk tariff offers customers access to the internet including email, Google, Ebay and news sites, from a mobile while on the move. T-Mobile claims that unlike other mobile network that only allow access to WAP enabled sites, Web ‘n’ Walk allows users to access all sites.
