Top marketer exits Princes Soft Drinks

Princes Soft Drinks marketing director David Patmore is to leave the company after nearly 10 years. It is understood Patmore, who leaves at the end of the month, does not have a job to go to.

Patmore, who has been soft drinks marketing director for the last two years, will be replaced by sales director Chris Wright.

As the top marketer, Patmore was responsible for marketing of Princes’ key soft drinks brands such as Ocean Spray, Aqua-Pura and Virgin Cola which the company markets and distributes.

His departure follows a number of key appointments across the company’s marketing department.

External appointment Colin Brown has taken over as general marketing manager for juices and squashes. Brown replaces Joanne Wailing, who is moving to a sales role within the company.

Mark Doherty, meanwhile, who has been promoted to head its carbonates and water division.

The company has lined up brand extensions for its sports water brands in the UK. Activa, a hypotonic water, and Reviva, an isotonic drink, will be available later this month.
