BDHTBWA wins 5m DWP brief

BDHTBWA has won the 5m advertising account for the Department for Work and Pension’s Employer Engagment Strategy. It won the business after a three-way pitch against Golley Slater and McCann Erickson Manchester.

BDHTBWA has won the £5m advertising account for the Department for Work and Pension’s (DWP)†Employer Engagment Strategy. It won the business after a three-way pitch against Golley Slater and McCann Erickson Manchester.

The agency will now work on a campaign that will target line managers, HR managers and managing directors of companies with 100 to 250 staff. It will cover issues such as the contribution that disable people can make in the work place and will encourage employers to evalute the capabilities of their staff.

A pilot campaign will launch in June of this year and it will be rolled out nationally from January 2008. The pitch was handled by the COI.
