Visit Wales is seeking an agency to handle its £6m advertising account after a competitive pitch. It is contacting agencies to compile a longlist for a review that will begin next month.
The incumbent Wieden & Kennedy is expected to repitch for the account, which it has held for nearly three years.
The body is seeking an agency to promote Wales internationally as well as raising its profile and attractions among the domestic tourists. It will be responsible for above-the-line, digital and below-the-line duties.
It is not known whether the incumbent on the direct marketing business, Partners Andrews Aldridge, will be affected by the appointment.
