Accantia Health & Beauty has appointed Alex Pike to the new role of marketing director. Pike’s appointment follows the company’s sell-off of its Lillets brand to a management buy-out team earlier this year.
Pike, who takes over the role next week, will be responsible for developing the company’s marketing strategy including the extending the Simple brand with new products and expanding it globally. She will report to Accantia chief executive Geoff Percy.
The marketing was previously handled by Duccio Baldi, the former Accantia commercial director, who left the company as part of the MBO.
Pike joins the company from consultancy Commercial Marketing Solutions, where she was managing director. She is also a former marketing director of gym brand Fitness First.
