Ralph responsible for digital strategy at Adventure Ecology

Ralph, the digital agency, has been appointed to handle the digital strategy for eco-learning project Adventure Ecology. It is not known if the agency pitched for the business or if there was an incumbent agency.

The agency is developing a new site for the eco-learning project that aims to appeal to a young audience by featuring entertaining but informative content. It will feature three key areas – education, adventure and arts along with a lifestyle section to cover general information and content about leading a greener lifestyle.

Adventure Ecology, which was set up environmentalist David de Rothschild in 2005, aims to be the world’s most powerful youth-led network to combat climate change and environmental issues.

The site aims to advise young consumers on how to take control of their own environmental impact. It has already started building awareness with initiatives such as flooding serveral areas on Second Life, including Knightsbridge and Ibiza, to highlight the potentially devastating effect of climate change.

Ralph has created a blog where adventurers can upload diaries and images. The site also contains free educational tools that aim to engage and educate young people through a mix of creative animation and action-based learning resources.

Teachers and children can produce and exchange their own content online to connect with other children throughout the network.
