The National Trust appoints marketer to oversee supporter division

The National Trust has promoted Sue Wilkinson to head its newly created marketing and supporter development division as part of move to focus on its membership base. She takes over the role on June 4.

Wilkinson was previously member and visitor marketing director. She will now be responsible for a range of divisons such as membership, marketing and communications, fundraising and retail. She will oversee nearly 500 people across the organisation.

The National Trust is one of the world’s largest conservation organisations and looks after historic locations across England, Wales and Northern Ireland, including 300 historic houses and gardens, 700 miles of coastline and 250,000 hectares of open countryside.
