At first the Diary wasn’t quite sure what James Kerr did to annoy his colleagues at integrated digital marketing company Mason Zimbler. But they teamed up with local suppliers in Bristol to pay to send the production manager on a trip far and high away – to the top of Everest, in fact.
As it turns out, James’ offence was nothing more than admitting that conquering the world’s tallest mountain was one of his goals on a “life development” course held by the company. After six weeks on the slopes, a great deal of mental and physical preparation and the aforementioned sponsorship, James achieved his goal.
So congratulations James. Has the Diary ever mentioned that one of its goals is to spend a year suffering the hardships of life in the Caribbean?
